McGonigle Ambulance Training Center





BLS CPR



Basic life support skills including CPR, AED use, and ventilations. Results in an AHA BLS Healthcare Provider course completion card.



CPR - Heartsaver & AED, First Aid



AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.



ACLS



Advanced life support skills, including CPR, AED use, and management of respiratory arrest, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes and stroke. Results in an AHA ACLS Healthcare Provider course completion card.



EMT - Basic



Designed to certify education to individuals likely to respond to pre-hospital emergencies. The program includes didactic presentation, skill demonstration, hands-on practical skill workshops and practical experience provided by the partnering hospital and Pennsylvania State Certified EMT instructor team.



Advanced EMT



Designed to certify education to individuals likely to respond to pre-hospital emergencies. The program includes didactic presentation, skill demonstration, hands-on practical skill workshops and practical experience provided by the partnering hospital and Pennsylvania State Certified AEMT instructor team.



PALS



Advanced life support skills for treating children and infants, including CPR, AED use, and management of respiratory emergencies, shock emergencies, and arrhythmias. Results in an AHA PALS Healthcare Provider course completion card.

AHA’s PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization). Students learn how to use a systematic approach to quickly assess, recognize the cause, and stabilize a pediatric patient in an emergency situation. ​

The ITLS course focuses on the skills necessary to recognize mechanisms of injury perform an organized, time-efficient assessment prioritize and perform critical interventions and appropriately package and transport the trauma patient.
